This is the real deal! Swedish fermented herring, aka surströmming. This is called the smelliest food in the world due to its strong smell and taste of fermented herring. Don't worry, it's supposed to smell like that. It is highly recommended to open the can outside as pressure build up naturally in the can (which can be seen by the swelling of the can) and parts of the water inside may come out when opened.
This is one can of 400 grams (300 grams net) of the world famous fish from Sweden.
Please note that the can may swell up during shipping. To stop this process, just put the can in a refridgerator.
