This is an awesome piece!
“Bash Brothers” poster featuring Mark McGwire and Jose Canseco dressed up like the Blues Brothers! Truly fitting for the time period (copyright 1988).
The poster measures 24” x 36” in size and is in great condition - however, the poster has been carefully cut right down the middle in an attempt to have it autographed by both athletes! As many recall, Canseco “spilled the beans” about the rampant steroid use throughout baseball in the late 90’s and during the great Home Run Record Chase. This made McGwire very angry and tarnished his reputation. From that point forward, good luck at having any piece signed by both of these athletes!
The poster is signed by Mark McGwire and Jose Canseco in bold blue sharpie near each of their respective images. Both halves of the poster were signed by each athlete at separate times. The poster was then carefully placed back together, dry mounted and professionally framed. Ready to hang!!
