HANDMADE MACRAME PLANT HANGER

For this original macrame decorative hanging I have used 3mm undyed 100% natural cotton macrame cord and handmade textile beads. Handmade textile beads add a bit of color. A unique variety of knots and twists make it one-of-a-kind.
I have found that the textile beads (in this case, blue denim fabric) withstand the outdoor elements much better than the wooden beads traditionally used in macrame. These beads are treated with a special coating that makes them hard and protects them from the sun and rain. The textile beads hold their color, while wooden beads often lose theirs.
I do not use a pattern...I just follow the knots wherever they take me :-)
The hanging measures 25 inches long.
