Vehicle Details
This is a South Carolina car (have title from previous owner) that i bought out of Pensacola Florida and had shipped up to Vermont (we do NOT have titles issued to us after 15 years of age, so car will come with legal Vermont bill of sale and registration card signed over)
Originally a 4cyl car, that was swapped to a fresh built 5.0L V8 (bored 0.030” over = 306 cubic inch displacement) last year: rods, rings, pistons, bearings, timing set, E303, Comp Cams 1.6 Roller Rockers, Promaxx aluminum heads, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold with FiTech fuel injection (Display/tuner mounted to windshield with suction cup bracket) Holley Top hat with AirAid tubing kit leading to Moroso fender mount Cold Air Intake, new Retro finned valve covers, breathers, catch can setup etc.
New Clutch kit, and good shifting T5 (have a spare T5 with full rebuild kit that will come with car) BBK headers, OR H-pipe, stainless magnaflow mufflers and tail pipes/tips. SVE twin fans, aluminum radiator, and coolant hoses.
Full 2003 Cobra: 5 lug swap, big brakes, and complete IRS (independant rear suspension) with LSD (limited slip differential) Eibach ProKit front springs and struts, Bilstein HD rear shocks and Cobra coils. Ford Racing And Performance Parts inline brake proportioning valve. A/C deleted (lines capped at firewall) 130Amp alternator and HD wiring upgrade.
Power Steering delete with Flaming River manual rack and lower steering column shaft, bump steer kit/outer tie rods. Maximum Motorsports: big sway bars front and rear, Camber/Caster plates up front, and full length weld in sub frame connectors. Enkei RPF1 wheels and 255/40/17” front tires, and 275/40/17” rear tires, and black Tuner Lugs. New Sparco wheel, New Ford script MOMO horn button and New matching MOMO hub adapter.
The floors, rockers, strut towers, and trunk are SPOTLESS (NO RUST!) I looked for two years for this car in this condition. Upgraded blue LED gauge cluster bulbs in 5.0 cluster (True Mileage Unknown on shell but presents well) LED: dome light bulbs, third brake bulbs, front and rear bulbs etc. New from Late Model Restoration: tail lights, black head liner, black carpet set, black rear seat delete, black arm rests and map deletes on original Royal Blue interior panels. Black LLoyds Pony mats from CJ Pony Parts. KilMat sound deadening added to floor pans and trunk areas. Dash has a faded spot near the Passenger side emblem but no cracks or damage. Saturn Ion Redline black and blue Recaro seats on custom made brackets (sit high but i am 5’-9” tall and 180 pounds and fit fine) MGW short shifter and knob.
New Kenwood Excellon smart head unit with blue tooth. Period correct high end Kicker ZR120 sub amp with ARG knob under head unit pushing a JL Audio 8W3 ported micro box in trunk, Alpine V12 four channel amp pushing Polk MOMO tweeters in custom pods (made by me) on rear shelf, Polk MOMO 6x9 3-ways in sealed boxed on rear seat delete, Polk DB 5.25” components in front doors, head unit pushes Infinity reference series 3.5” coaxial speakers in the dash, and 5”x7” Eclipse audio coaxial speakers under rear shelf. Second battery in trunk (GM side post in custom mount)
Full body and re paint in Performance White last winter. Not perfect but it gets lots of compliments. No major accidents to my knowledge prior to my ownership, but during body work and paint i had a new radiator support and left front inner apron / battery tray installed so the front end is as close to perfect as possible. New 2” steel cowl hood also added due to original hood having hood pins (not my style) All new rubber seals and trim installed inside and out, including new 5 piece windshield trim kit. New oem style 6 piece headlights. Retro fitted Mach-1 front bumper lip.
The list of modifications could go on forever. I consider this a 90% done resto mode project that still needs some minor tinkering: one high beam recently inop, horns are not hooked up because of the addition of Sparco wheel, new washer pump is installed in oem washer jug but not wired (wipers work fine though)
There is well over k spent on this restoration (i have most receipts but not all) my loss is your gain. As stated above car will come with spare T5 transmission and new rebuild parts, as well as coming with original royal blue seats front and rear (Suggest bringing a truck and trailer for spares)
