    Vehicle Details
I'm relsting this due to deadbeats. Do not bid if you have zero feedback. After 26 years and being the 2nd owner I’m finally selling my car. It has been sitting without being driven for the last 8 years, and I need the garage space for a different car. The car will need to be towed, as it is not street ready. It’s never been in an accident. It was originally an AOD car but I bought a donor car for a T5 conversion and did a clean and correct swap. The car does need some work for it to be street worthy. I’ll list all the good and the bad that I can think of, but like I said I have not driven it in quite a while. I changed the oil, fuel filter, and battery. I also removed the old gas and replaced it with new before starting. It fired up and idled. I have a short video of it running and can provide that upon request. I’m including a few extra things with the car as well, like a set of black door panelsand, the original quarter windows, and a good working T-5. I have all of the receipts from anything I ever bought for the car too.INTERIOR:The interior is in amazing condition and is all original to the car, except for the arm rest. I added that later since the car originally came with the delete plate. I’m including the delete with the car. The carpet could using a good cleaning or replacement. The only real flaw is there is a cigarette burn in the drivers side seat. I’m not a smoker and have never smoked in the car but the first owner must have. The front passenger seat has the typical broken back frame. The cargo cover still retracts. The hatch shocks hold the hatch up. The hatch lock striker needs to be replaced. The hatch is very difficult to get to latch closed. The radio works but I think the crossover unit behind the radio is burnt out so no sound comes out of the speakers. A factory Ford CD player is included from a Contour or something like that.A 0 deposit will need to be made within an hour of the end of the auction or I’ll have to relist the car. The remainder will need to be paid in person with cash. No checks, money orders or cashiers checks.EXTERIOR:I had a very good paint job done on the car about 20 years ago. At the time I bought new factory Ford trim too. I also installed a clean set of quarter windows at the time. No fading or pitting on them. The 2.5 inch cowl hood is a Cervinis. No cracks in the tail lights or headlights. The headlights were replaced with aftermarket OEM style ones at the time as well. The original hatchback was rusted so I replaced it with a rust free one. One of the front fenders were also replaced with an OEM one before I painted the car. The Pony wheels are off of a 10,000 mile 1993 notch. There are a couple of light dings below the passenger quarter window that have only happened recently from sitting in the garage. No scratches.ENGINE:The motor was replaced 20 years ago, and might have a few thousand miles on it, if that. It has Motorsport clutch. I replaced the speedo gear with what I thought was the correct one, but turned out not to be so the mph on the speedometer reads incorrectly. The car originally came with a 3.27 gear but I thought the original owner put a 3.73 in it so that’s the speedo gear I put I. So honestly I’m not sure what gear ratio the car has. I rebuilt the trac lock about 20 years ago too.UNDERCARRIAGE:The car did see Midwest winters for the first 8-9 years of its life so some of the typical spots are rusted. There’s a hole in the floorboards under the gas pedal, and where the back bolts for the front passenger seat are. The torque boxes look good to me.SUSPENSION/BRAKES:Both are all stock and original. Not sure of the condition of the brakes, since I haven’t driven it in a long time. The emergency brake cable will need to be replaced. I removed it because the cable binded up and locked up the rear brakes.
