Offered is this largely-complete 1979 Olds Starfire GT, nicely optioned.
THE GOOD:
The 231 (3.8) Buick V6 runs very well. Mileage shows to be 76716 and most likely on it's first trip around the odometer. The auto trans shifts well. Nicely optioned from the factory with A'C (underhood components missing, but interior parts are present), Soft-Ray tint glass, sport wheel, tilt column, sport mirrors, chrome versions of the rally wheels with correct trim rings, decent console, bucket seats, gauges with tach and clock, the front grilles, headlamp bezels and header panel are nice.
THE BAD:
The interior is a bit of a mess, and most of the plastic panels are dryrotted, broken or missing. The front fenders and rear quarters have rot, but surprisingly the wheel lip areas are pretty good. The hood looks good along the top, but does have some rot on the underhood bracing. Rear hatch is decent.
THE UGLY:
The rest of the car. Floors are gone, rockers are shot, doors are junk. There is carnage at the rear fascia as someone tried to hack an earier-style rear onto the flat stock rear section. No paperwork.
A great parts car.
If you need additional information or pictures, please feel free to e-mail me. I have a LOT of pictures which show the car in better detail. This will have to be picked up here (half an hour west of Rochester, and about an hour northeast of Buffalo.
Thanks for looking, and please be sure to see the other parts I have offered.
