    Description

This car is a 1970 Ford Mustang Convertible with a Hurst close ratio 4-speed manual transmission, and a 351 Windsor motor with a 2-Barrel carburetor. We have had this car for 15 years and it has always been garage kept. We bought the car from a woman that lived in Washington state. The car is not the original color which is metallic blue because she had it painted in the mid to late 80's after a minor incident on the right rear quarter. This car is 1 of 4 that was painted Metallic Blue. The car looks to have all the original sheet metal. The only rust I see on the car is a small spot on the middle of the right front floor pan and bubbles on the outer portions of the doors. No rust under the hood, or the inner apron panels, or any of the frame rails. The bottoms of the doors are in excellent shape. The car has competition suspension which gives it a big block sway bar in the front, quick ratio steering, and a close ratio transmission. It has a 9 inch rear-end with rear factory sway bar. The car has a new radiator and fan shroud, new power steering, a new oil pan and sump pump because when we got the car it had a High capacity oil pan for some reason and I put the correct oil pan back on. This car did not have the correct mirrors, but I have 2 new sport mirrors that will go with the car because they will need to be painted the same body color. The car runs and drives, the power top works fine. If you need any information or any more pictures, please call 618-550-9451.
Please see the picture of the Marti's report for the specifications of the car.
