Extremely nice '66 Mustang that draws tons of attention. Very drivable with power steering and 4-wheel disc brakes brakes but has plenty of HP (@ 400 estimated). This car's sheet metal is all original and is a rust-free, former California car. It was completely restored by the previous owner who was a body-and-paint professional. The interior, exterior, engine bay, trunk and undercarriage look factory new with no rust, bondo, repair patches, etc. The engine starts every time. Annual service, inspection, and window sticker in June 2021. This car has about 300 miles on it since the previous owner completed the rebuild 2 years ago (he put @ 100 miles on it...I did the rest). This car will not disappoint. Why am I selling: my wife hates it. She doesn't like 1966 technology and lack of safety features (no air bags, shoulder harnesses, head rests, etc.). Oh well... Previous owner replaced the following: (interior) seats, door panels, dash pad, carpeting, headliner, stereo (modern with old school look), footwells with modern speakers, sound deadening under carpet; (exterior) amazing paint, proper gaps on panels, new gas tank, new suspension, 9" rear end from a late-70's Lincoln, new 347 stroker crate engine, aluminum radiator, fully detailed engine bay and undercarriage, headers, aluminum exhaust, 4-wheel power disc brakes, air adjustable rear shocks, rebuilt original transmission, power steering. Things I've added/done/had done: 17" Shelby-style aluminum wheels and new Hankook tires, electric e-brake (original no longer connected due to rear end swap), fog lights, new stereo speakers in dash (versus original single/mono), new seat belts, new wood-grain steering wheel, wood-grain gauge panel, wood-grain glove box, new ignition and door locks/keys (will include originals), lowered stance (but not too low), sound deadening mat in trunk, car cover, alignment after addition of new wheels/tires, white rocker stripes. I have a spec sheet for the engine, manual for the stereo, and a reproduction owner's manual which will be included. I also have the specific paint code used (but hopefully never needed again!). A couple of issues I've noted: the windshield and rear window leak, the stereo could use an amplifier to take advantage of the 4 upgraded speakers, the exhaust is loud (not necessarily an issue...just wanted you to know), the car does not like potholes or bumps as something rattles/clunks in the rear when you hit one but I can't figure it out (granted...it's not an off-road vehicle). There is no warranty with this car. You are welcome to see the car in person before buying. I've represented the many good points and few issues to the best of my abilities.
