    Description

Up for bidding is a 1965 Mustang 2+2 Fastback GT350H clone with brand new factory style A/C. I am listing this car for sale for a good customer of mine. Please ask all questions prior to bidding.
The car is an original fastback, not a conversion. I painted this car back in 2008 for another good customer of mine who brought it to me ready to paint. He said he wanted it to look like a GT350H. The gold stripes are buried under several coats of clear. After years of driving, it does have some chips and scratches, but still presents very well. The car was originally equipped with a 289 2bbl with a C4 transmission. It now has a 302 V8 and T5 transmission out of a late 80's Fox body Mustang under the hood with added power brakes. The door tag appears to show this car was originally Raven black with red vinyl interior, a 2.80 rear and C4 trans. The interior upholstery, carpet, weatherstripping, and most of the exterior trim were all replaced back in 2008. The car still retains its Car Lite glass and original window trim. The wheels and tires were also new in 2008. The current owner added factory style AC several months ago.
Overall the car is in very good driver quality condition and gets a lot of attention wherever it goes. If you're a Mustang lover and want to be noticed without paying for a real GT350H, then this car is for you. I am not the owner but the car is in my shop so I can answer any questions you may have. From what I can see, the only panels that have been repaired or replaced are the L&R front floor pans have been patched, the rear frame rail sections at the shackles have been replaced, and the front section of the LH front fender apron has been replaced. The rest of the underbody appears to be original and in good condition. The carburetor could use a rebuild because it runs rough until it warms up, but that is most likely the result of the car sitting more than its driven.
