This early production 1965 (1964 1/2) Mustang Convertible was built in June, 1964 at the Dearborn factory.
Collector-owned for many years. Originally Raven Black, it was repainted in a color similar to 1964 "Vintage Burgundy Metallic." Paint is gorgeous with a deep shine. Excellent panel fit. Bright chrome and trim. Newer white Pony interior and newer power top which works perfectly. Clean undercarriage.

Other upgrades under current ownership include:
• Front disc brakes.
• Custom wheels and tires.
• Completely rebuilt front end suspension.
• Original factory Air Conditioning upgraded to modern system, including new compressor and R-134 coolant.
• Auxiliary electric fuel pump.
• New gas tank sending unit.

• Optima battery.
• Master battery shut-off switch.
The rebuilt 260 V8 engine runs great. Starts easily. Plenty of power. No smoke or issues. 4-speed automatic transmission WITH ADDED OVERDRIVE shifts smoothly. A real pleasure to drive. Has been enjoyed by the current owner for 15 years. The only reason for selling is to make room in the garage.
