Description
Here is a beautiful antique opalescent tumbler made by Northwood Glass Company in 1904. The pattern of the tumbler was originallly called "Encore", but is not referred to as "Jewel and Flower". This beautiful opalescent glass tumbler is clear glass with white opalescence. The tumbler measures 4 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter and was part of a water set. The tumbler was gilded in the center of the flowers, the jewels and inside the feather decoration. There is some wear to the gold decoration with time and age. The tumbler is free of any cracks or chips. There are six available tumblers for sale, all in the same condition. A great item to add to your collection.I have pictured all 6 tumblers available for you to choose from. If there is a particular tumbler you wish to purchase, please contact me regarding its availability. As you can see, some tumblers have more opalescence, and the two on the left have gold trim on the lip. There is a small chip to the foot of the second from the left tumbler pictured in the last photo. All of the tumblers have a polished bottom, so this rough spot or chip may have been a result of not being totally polished for smoothness during manufacturing. The two tumblers on the right have tags on the bottom from the original collector as to what pattern these are from and when and where they where purchased.
